I use both 😅 some households are alpha while others are maxis match, but I do prefer maxis match furniture (also love alpha clutter)

I'm a full alpha girly but I don't go for hyperrealism. I tend to use semi-realistic cc more since I still love having stylization in my sims and if you go for too realistic while stylizing that's when you get uncanny valley. I love maxis mix sims, if I could get down how to do maxis mix in my game I'd probably use that but I'm committed to my current style because I like making renders.
The wars over which cc style is better is kind of wack considering there are multiple types of alpha cc and I've seen some variation in MM cc too. I just love seeing the personal flare everyone has to their sims style!

Maxis match will always be my favourite to play with, personally, but I honestly love seeing all kinds of CC being used by others! Every category allows for so much creativity. I especially love seeing the resurgence of maxis mix—y’all make the most gorgeous sims!

I used to be a maxis match person but I just recently have seen the appeal of mixing it. I like the maxis hair, but use certain alpha overlays, eyebrows, lashes, eyes, etc. It just makes a really nice combo!

Almost all of the cc I have is maxis match. I do have a few things like accessories and makeup, small details, which are alpha; or at least, more alpha-like than maxis match in appearance. I prefer maxis match; alpha clothes and hair don’t fit into the game quite as well as maxis match does, of course.
