I understand that it is impossible to show the whole history of Russia in 40 seconds, but some points could be added:
1. The Baptism of Rus by Prince Vladimir (988)
2. It was worth adding some events in the 80-90s (the Period of stagnation, the Afghan War, the Chechen Wars and the events in October 1993)
But I still praise you for your efforts.

Nice vid, but u made some mistakes:
1) Rurik, Oleg and Yaroslav were Knyazes (idk how to say this word in English)
and there weren't any kings in Russia, only Tsars and Emperors
2) The Soviet Union defeated the third reich in 1945, not in 1942 and why have u put the Soviet-Afghan period soldier in this part? There should be the soldier of the Grand Patriotic War
3)You've missed the Cold War, Soviet-afghan war and Wars in Chechnya.

Great video, mate.
But you missed two very important events, The Crimean War and the Russo-Japanese war. Both defeats were crucial to spark the Communist Revolution of 1917.
The Crimean War was even the main reason as to why Russia sold Alaska to the USA. The conflict literally bankrupted Russia.
