How to not care about what other people think | Bible Study Journal

Today's video is on how to not care what other people think. It's so difficult to do what God wants us to do boldly when we are caught up in what other people think of us. The way that I have learned how to not care about what other people think of me is by shifting my focus. What we do for earthly desires mean nothing - the only things that matter is what we do for God. Shift your focus from pleasing people to pleasing God and you will begin to not care about what others think of you.

I needed this more than you know I have Lyme disease and someone in my life who is very hard on me doesn’t believe it. It doesn’t understand why I’m tired, etc. etc. I found myself acting a certain way to get a certain reaction or trying to be unnoticed so I’m not judged my hair is falling out and I used to be a makeup artist and all about clothes make up, etc.was on the wrong thing. I believe God has a plan for my life that involves putting myself out there. I’ve struggled with this for well over a year. Thank you for the great reminder. I sometimes wonder if I'm hearing from God or not. I hope that the more I get into studying the Bible that it will be easier for me to know what God wants me to do. We had an interesting experience happen and I wonder if it came from God. After a snowstorm in Buffalo which indirectly caused my husband to lose his Dad, we decided to move away from Buffalo (something I had wanted for a long time). We were going to move to Winston-Salem NC and then as we were preparing to do that, I saw a video about people living in RVs. I asked my husband to watch the video and we decided to consider it. Here we are 3 years later living in the RV with our 3 cats being snowbirds. We ended up starting a YouTube channel also. It's a life that we never dreamed of and we've been really enjoying it. I commend you for making those videos that were a challenge.

I'm so glad that a Jesus lover made a video on this very important topic. I had to search a little bit deeper and I'm so glad that I didn't stop searching because I came across your video.
