On March 11, 2004, there was an attack on commuter trains in Madrid. Around 2, 000 people were injured and almost 200 died. This song is very sad. It was learned from a diary belonging to a young girl who died in the attack that she saw a boy every day on the train whom she really liked and had been wanting to tell him for some time but didn't dare. No one ever found out who it was. "La oreja de Van Gogh" wrote this song to pay tribute to her and all the victims of that tragedy, ending the story with her confessing her feelings moments before the tragic event.
