10/21/14 — St. Paul & The Broken Bones nearly blew the roof off Boston’s legendary Paradise Rock Club — and on a Tuesday night, no less. The soulful Birmingham Alabama rock band left the sold-out crowd in a state of delirium that lasted long after the unforgettable 90 min set. This is the full set from Boston (minus covers) — see link below to watch their cover of David Bowie’s “Moonage Daydream”.

Lead Vocalist, Paul Janeway, sat down with Front Row Boston before the show to talk about everything from almost becoming an accounting to his Mom throwing away his Nirvana CD.

St. Paul & The Broken Bones debut album, Half The City, was released in 2014.

When my friends walk into my living room and see Paul Janeway on the big screen spilling his heart out in song they routinely say, "Wow, he doesn't look like he sounds."

It's the same thing the Swampers heard when legendary rock and soul acts made their way to record in Muscle Shoals forty something years ago.

I love this band. Drove from Ohio to Asheville TN to see them at a street fare. Told the trombone player that the band was gonna be a huge hit, and ya'll are. Much love St. Paul and the Broken Bones. Bigger than The Blues Brothers. And twice as raw...

Great music! Discovered these guys through D Letterman awhile back, did their Call Me song. Totally fell in-love with their sound and style. That voice! The guitar and horns are just as amazing!

"Paul Janeway talks about his journey from accounting school to professional musician." I watched the 'Call Me' video and thought that this guy looks like an accountant :D
