2023 Can Am Maverick X3 DS Turbo First Look Review The Most Powerful SXS For the Money. For 2023, both two and four-seat models of the 64” wide, mid HP Maverick X3 DS Turbos gets a boost in power from 120 to 135 HP thanks to a new ECU and calibration, new turbo assembly and fuel injectors from the Turbo RR engine. The result is a 21% increase in horsepower and 23% more torque than its closest competitors which are all naturally aspirated. Can-Am smoother operating pDrive roller bearing equipped clutch was added to the DS Turbo’s CVT. It’s also claimed to be more durable.
Not just a horsepower leader at its price point, the Maverick X3 DS Turbo leads all of its 64” wide competitors in suspension with 20” of travel at both ends. It rides on 30” Maxxis Carnivore tires, on the large side for a 64” wide side-by-side.

Starting at $21,599 for the two-seat Maverick X3 DS Turbo and $25,099 for the Maverick X3 Max DS Turbo, performance for the dollar appears to be off the chart. We’re hoping to test one out in 2023 to find out.

We have to say that for the money the 135HP Maverick X3 DS really stands out.

I figured 2023 would be all different. A few hp more on the base model. I figured something to go after the pro r but I guess they don't see that 4 banger as a threat.

I have this one, had it for a year… 0 problems !!with the turbo.. you have plenty of power trust lol

I have a 21 base with aftermarket assassins 150-155hp tune non intercooled. I wonder why only 15hp gain. I haven't had any issues with timing being pulled or codes and i have rode in 100 degree heat.
