Today we’re going to explore and break down a track with a little more depth. This track is in the Sci-Fi/Hybrid realm, and is MUCH more advanced and complex than the first Sci Fi track, the short battle loop we looked at in Episode 2

I've watched this series twice because I didn't really understand too much when I first started, but now that I'm more familiar with my DAW (Reaper) and some of the more fundamental composition concepts I see how helpful and thorough you are in giving us a really good starting point. Also appreciate your positivity and general attitude towards making music :) so thank you!

Please please please do some more!! Love this series!
I'd like to know how much programming (if any) a composer needs to do when writing for a game. For example you talk about loops, is it enough to send an audio file that is loopABLE, and let the studio worry about inserting that into the game?
Have you any tips for writing music that will flow seamlessly from one section to support, like win/lose sections like you talked about?

So many questions... I hope you'll continue this series. I'd like you to know I'm 100% using this to try and get a foot into professionally composing!

Keep them coming! :D

Thanks for this!
In Episode 2 you speak about looping after an Intro. I tried to make this in Audacity an fl studio for the RPG Maker, but it don't work and I found nothing useful on Google and YouTube. Can You help me how it works in fl studio?

Nice I live in Winchester VA thats like one or one half hours out (I think), way cool! What are your thoughts on keeping an original sound while still delivering what the client wants? Maybe a silly question.

Amazing information. I guess I need to head back to college to learn classical composition!! 🙄

Thanks for another great episode, Brian! Wondering how many tracks/instruments are there in this project? Completing the entire arrangement in less than 6 hours is quite unbelievable, great work! Also, do you always mix and master your own compositions, or do you hire some else to do so?

BTW - How do you monitor when you’re composing and mixing your pieces?
