I did some runs with Fallen Sunstar as everyone is constantly raving about how great it is, although I was never huge on it personally. I wiped a couple of times to the double Champions at various points, as they're the only threat in the boss fight and the super wasn't consistently clearing them as I wanted. So I swapped to Geomags and got it first try after that, as it suited my approach better here. The ability uptime really wasn't too much different either. I much prefer Crown of Tempests or Geomags personally, but each to their own I guess.

I also forgot to change the mods on my helmet. Ideally it would be with Kinetic Siphon & Arc Siphon though.

When grabbing the first set of orbs after getting on the ferry, instead of climbing down to go to the other tower, i usually jump on to a lantern that's hanging from the ceiling in between the towers. It's big and I've never fallen off of it. Pretty safe

I find Crown to be better in solo content where people arent stealing your kills to proc the perk. Fallen Sunstar seems a bit more consistent in group play because traces are more easily generated and even if someone takes the kill I can still get a trace from jolting the target. I was testing in Salvage so not the craziest thing ever, but it was annoying throwing a grenade and not even getting x1 with CoT. That was my observation with it anyway.

Man, the artifact this season has made me realize just how close arc warlock is to being a complete and viable subclass if they just got a couple buffs because I’ve been enjoying the hell out of arc this season

I agree with you, I use Sunstar sometimes, but I mostly resort back to Crown or Geomags

When you do the solo hunter GM, could you consider trying Revenant with Lucky Pants and Malfeasance? Whisper of Rending and the damage boost from Lucky has been nothing short of awesome!

I feel the same way about Falling Sunstar. I feel like Crown gives me better uptime on my abilities and the small bonus to Tickle Fingers can be nice too. I have to give Geomags another go though after seeing you use them a few times now. Those and Sanguine Alchemy. I had never thought of going up the back way for the orb dunking. First time I've ever seen it and it's a super good little trick. Masterful as always.
