first time- finished diamond i've been working with this rudiment a long time in marching band and it just takes practice to get the speed up

Alternating between hands, my LEFT lost control during Platinum and my RIGHT made it all the way.

Not trying to discount your achievement, but this is one of the easier ones to break diamond on. If you can do it in BOTH hands though, that is a bit more difficult, but still not as hard as most other rudiments. My point in saying this is don't stop at one hand, and don't stop at diamond! Take out your metronome and keep increasing speed. This will be your fastest way of playing sextuplets so get it as fast as you can. Good luck!

I can play till platinum with my right hand lead but can't get past silver with my left hand lead ...found this rudiment on drumeo yesterday

Is there a difference in marking time or what is the difference audibly between a paradiddle diddle and a sexlet besides the sticking?

I can barely make it to plat for paradiddles but I can make it to diamond with these, with my right hand but still, I need to keep practicing

My left hand double is quite a bit faster then my right but I have no control with my left hand so getting to silver is where I am at rn but I win is a win I guess
