Cartoon network edited bugs Bunny Robin hood

While my son was watching Looney toona..I noticed something was edited out..I rewound it and found they edited "the poor" from the Robin Hood line. Why? Is our culture so offended by everything that bugs Bunny can't say Robin Hood gives to the poor? Really?
