I'm going to make the slotted type because i have a place to hang it on the wall and I can see easily what i have. Thanks

I like both ideas, and I’ll go with the “Slotted” idea. However, I’ll make mine half the size, and then stack them later..I only have a 9” Ryobi Bandsaw..it limits the size of my stock.

It would be nice to download the plans without giving you all my info, especially since there is nothing original about either plan. I try to keep my online presence to an absolute minimum. I also already subscribe to your magazine.

In defense of the folks at Woodsmith, I will say they have to gear their commentary to folks new to woodworking, that need the extra detail to complete their first projects successfully. There are also women starting out and lots of young people learning this craft via youtube. I know I would like everyone involved to succeed. We're all on the same team. Don

You didn`t say, do you turn off the bandsaw before you back the blade or no?

Wait, isn’t this the same dude that does the Kreg ACS videos as well?

He’s like the Jaime Escalante of woodworker education.

Why does this guy look a little like Tim The Tool man Taylor from the TV show Home Improvement? LOL

Applaud the effort here gentlemen but both of these options take up WAY TOO MUCH SPACE.
6 blades stacked would total less than inch and a half. Someone needs to make a booklet binder like they did for CDs back when CDs were still a thing. Each "page" would have a sleeve so you can see the blade, you could quickly turn through the booklet to get your desired blade, and it would take up less space, and the teeth would be protected. Maybe I should just make OK Copyright 2024 by me.

This is the most complex and inefficient use of space I have ever seen. Bad storage system. You can not see what is in each drawer. So you have to hunt for the one you want. Only a cabinet maker would think of this.
I hand all my blades on 4" long peg hooks on my pegboard with cardboard spacers between the blades. I organize them by diameter and by tooth count. I can immediately see what blade I want.
