Just so everyone understands, kingdom hearts has one of the most complex and best stories in game history. Our love for the series is due to that specific reason, its full of heart and were enveloped in the story. But for many people, including me, and probably you. We still don't even understand the whole thing. And we also weren't able to play all the games in the franchise. By them putting all of these games out together in bundles and leading up to 3 is to specifically organize the story for us to play through and be familiarized with the details needed to go through 3 and have a understanding closure. Trust square enix with what there doing. When you have a team as powerful as them, and disney, you can assure this is for the players best interest.

People need to understand that if you haven't played the handheld exclusives (Birth By Sleep, Dream Drop Distance) and don't play the mobile exclusive (Kingdom Hearts X), which is what 2.8 is trying to help those who haven't, you will be lost playing Kingdom Hearts 3.

If you have only played the main installments and haven't bothered reading up or playing any of the previous games, you might as well just skip KH3 because there will be too many pieces of the puzzle you won't be able to figure out.

I have never played a KH game but this trailer made me pretty hype about this game!
