HAL has been building Migs and Sukhois, so the production line already exits. Starting production of Mig35 should not need lot of renovation and investment (hopefully). If Russia can give an offset of the cost of ToT then even better

We can work with MIG -35 far better cause HAL and IAF is familiar with the Russian equipment and are far more experienced in its problems and solutions than the rafale, Also most Russian aircraft are built for war in bad conditions. The Indian DRDO and its arsenal of types of equipment has faster integration rate with Russian aircraft cause that's we had operated for a long time and the TOT and possible offer of joint development of MIG corporations new 5th gen fighter may also be achieved.

Mig 35 is perfect for iaf because:
- experience of indian pilots
-cost effective than rafale bcoz 300 mig is better than 100 rafale
- I think there was news about 21 mig planes from russia earlier. So if it is 210 mig 35 ; stronger iaf with large no.of squadrons
