A classic Italian dessert, originally from the island of Capri, based on dark chocolate and almonds, with a very soft heart and a heavenly taste!

Its basic ingredients are almond flour, excellent quality dark chocolate, sugar, butter, and eggs.

The Torta Caprese is one of the most successful "mistakes" of Italian confectionery.

An exquisite cake, which has ancient origins; its creation dates back to 1920 from a mistake by a pastry chef on the island of Capri, who was preparing his almond cake; probably in a hurry, he forgot to add the dose of flour to the batter.

At the end of cooking, however, with great surprise, the cake was not only delicious but also with a unique delicacy: soft inside and crunchy on the outside.
