I love Khabib for the sake of Allah as a person and his character. I respect his pride in his Islamic identity and I hope to see many young people grow up to have similar qualities of being strong and proud of their deen regardless of what position they have in society. I was one of the few people that did not watch the McGregor VS Khabib fight because I was doubtful that it was permissible, I was surprised that many people didn't see it as an issue including some duaats and close friends and I am glad that I finally had the chance to ask Khabib himself directly. His answer was amazing and made me love and respect him more mashallah tabarakallah.

I remember this man kneeling to drink water in front of the world when there was no seat available. I remember this man thanking Allah(swt) every time for giving him everything and also pointing to the sky and saying don't praise me praise Allah(swt) he give me everything alhamdulillah. This man is a great Muslim warrior and we need more like him.

MashaAllah.. huge respect for Khabib.. He didn't deny at all or try to find justification just because he's a fighter himself.. May Allah forgave his and all of our sins.. Barakallahu fiik

Khabib is a trained weapon, and hes going against other trained weapons, its not the same as the average ppl fighting due to disagreements.
That being said its good that he recognizes the harm and isnt sugarcoating it.

This is so strong from Khabib ma shaa Allah. Imagine ur life-time-work is getting questioned and he doesnt justify it and staying humble and wants to stay honest not selling his faith. We all have errors. May Allah forgive him every sin he did. And may Allah reward him with jannat al firdaus and everything good in this life for his good manner he shows to the world.

and I think it needs courage to ask a question like that. U can see some perople are getting uncomfortable while this question is getting asked. But I think he did it in a very respectful way and he made his thoughts on this question how he could ask it in a good way and I think he did a good job on that.

Love Khabib! He can do something wrong and admit it’s wrong instead of trying to justify it. I’m a big fan of MMA and kickboxing but I struggle internally with the haram parts which involve hitting the face. May Allah forgive Khabib. I think Khabib has done way more good through his UFC career than bad even though he smashed people’s faces.
At the end God will judge and everyone has his positives and negatives.

Oh my God Khabib is really deserves his name. It means „the beloved one“ and yes, he is. Such a great man, great sportsman, great person.. look how soft his answer is. so humble. I know some other sportsmans who would be angry at a question like this.I hope that I have the chance to met him in my life.

His answer is golden no matter your religious stance. It's not good to smash people. His mercy even in battle that shows his heart. From a southern american white boy, I admire Khabib, his achievements, and his strength in his faith.

Subhan’Allah this was a great question by the Imam and a great answer by Khabib, the former fighter.
Despite Khabib’s flaws he gave Muslims worldwide the chance to raise their heads and be proud in a world that often punished them for their religious identity.

Ppl that have followed him long time already know he was conflicted with his job. But it was a means to an end, and to expose the world to the good Islamic teachings and ppl. I'm Christian but am well versed in the teachings of the Quran, and to treat him as a religious leader is not fair to him. I know that muslims will elevate him to high status like Ali boxing, or prince nassem, and should be proud, but these guys, but they aren't religious leaders and just athletes, so don't scrutinize and compare righteousness

This is ironic because I and my brother were discussing his good qualities recently and this point was raised during dicussion. Good question, May Allah bless you and Khabib brother.

Let me just say as a non Muslim. Khabib is a great example of a Muslim. Non judgemental. Very humble. Not arrogant and dosent pressure innocent people into converting. Its a shame I can't say that about other Muslims. Which they ones I've come across are very judgemental and outcast people who are 'non believers' or from different religions. Why create a divide between humans? Isn't that wrong in it self under God? Why be so judgemental and even that pressure and convince youths of different religions to convert. Muslims say paradise starts at the feet of your parents. Why would you make a child who's non Muslim disrespect their parents by having them convert? When the parents have raised their child to be of another religion. It just dosent make sense. However I've followed Khabib. This man is a true inspiration. True man. A true good kind hearted Human. Who follows his faith and religion with the utmost respect to other people.

Theres 98% chance of you dying from diving a car than doing mma. I know hitting in the face is a sin but so is music but people listento it. Dont fuckin watch if its haram for you. Khabib probably inspired more people to come back to din than most of the muslim who sit around and sin then call out others
