wor(new york? ) i grew up in the same town as jean Hammond in. even went to harding school was wondering where he had done his radio work as a kid i assumed maybe wjob in town guess not

WOR's best years were when the "Shep" graced the airwaves. youth lost to time traveling through space along with the Shep's voice to eternity.

What a storyteller! What’s fun when listening to the stories about when he was a kid is now, after watching A Christmas Story, you can put faces to the characters, Ralphie, Flick, Schwartz, etc. and it helps to pull you into the story!

Shep is playing the MGM 2001 - A Space Odyssey Soundtrack album during his opening sketch, a record that used to be popular at the time.
