In Vino Veritas...Wine is truth!

Italy is known for many things...art, food, architecture, history, love...but nothing quite defines the culture here more than our wines.

While I will acknowledge that the Italians did not invent wine...the Greeks brought it to our shores. But the Italians have perfected it. Italian wines are among the best in the world.

But what the rest of the world does not know is that our best wines never leave our shores. The reason you might ask? Eighty percent of our vintners produce less than 50,000 bottles of wine each. The exporters look for wines that are made in the hundreds of thousands of bottles. But it is the small, local winemakers that make the very best of our vintages.

We have been making truly wonderful wines here for more than 4000 years. The Etruscans promoted it...the Romans obsessed with it...but over the last several hundred years, the Italians have perfected it. And they did this by using one standard ingredient...Passion!

Wine is truth...You see, in the final analysis, the grapes do not lie.
