Partners can often have a significant impact on our self esteem and body confidence. A critical remark about one’s body or appearance from a partner can cut so sharply, while when a partner genuinely makes you feel irresistible just as you are, it can be one of the best feelings in the world. For me the greatest hallmark of love and desire is when you are so into each other that you literally just adore every bit of each other exactly the way it is. The cellulite that jiggles on your thighs, their crooked teeth, your stretch marks, their acne, or whatever the f*ck other thing society tells us we are supposed to see as ugly—are often the very things that make someone so f*cking beautiful in the eyes of a lover. It’s the unique specificities that make each person themselves and you love every part , because you love them so much, and desire them so much, and you wouldn’t change a thing. God what a beautiful feeling it is to love and be loved like that!🥹💖
