Forza sounds are recorded mostly in an open field like a runway etc. and thus lack in bass. They just push the metal to the metal and record it that way. The Crew sounds like they do it in a studio or garage with very good mics and filter out the echo.

As a Forza player, I think The Crew has a bit better engine sounds but I hate the "bangs" on the gear shifts, just unrealistic

Motorfest sounds better, but I still enjoy FH5 more as a game.

As a Forza Player, this is an EZ Win for The Crew Motorfest. Forza can’t even find realistic sounds. Let alone have correct pitches

you have no idea how happy it makes me that you used a lambo v10 rather than the lfa. ive seen so many ppl use the lfa as v10 sounds when its not the ordinary sound.

Forza has great models and graphics but the crew sounds are on point (except shifting ones)

One thing I really don’t like about motor fest is the shaky up shifts on many cars that would never do that

Gosh motorfest did so damn good with the 812 sound, why cant forza sound more realistic like in the older horizons😭

Gotta give Ubisoft some credit, their sound design is better. But at least I'll still be able to play Forza Horizon 5 when Microsoft shuts the servers down. Meanwhile Ubisoft just shut down The Crew 1's servers and the game is completely unplayable, even singleplayer. Eventually Motorfest will go the same route because Ubisoft insists we don't own what we buy from them.

Genuinely cannot believe how bad the sense of speed is in both games though. Going 120mph shouldn't feel like you're getting passed by NPC traffic

I dont know why I like a lot more the crew sounds, but could be because we are really burned of the low quality forza has been in the last years? I have to say tho, the Skyline sounds better on FH... motorfest misses something

Forza is the better game wise
The Crew is better quality wise

Basically i feel like Forza prioritizes quantity over quality, and the opposite for the crew, its just that forza is the better game overall… they have more features, more cars, more exploration, and sometimes even more fun

The crew motorfest engine sound are more accurate to real life car sounds. Forza horizon car sounds are so weird sounds like a 10-year-old game
