Mitch loses his job & a gift for Artsakh children

Mitch and 71 other National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NCIE) colleagues will lose their jobs in July 2024.

I discuss the closure of The Scientific and Technical Library of NCIE and the potential loss of 22 million historical books and journals.

Then we travel to Areni and present a new laptop computer to an Artsakh family of 6 children. The laptop will enable several children to learn English via Zoom chat with a kind-hearted Armenian lady from California. Her name is Edna, and she does this free of charge and helps other families from Goris and Artsakh refugees.

The influx of refugees (100K) from the offensive (no need to name) and the strain on the economy, could that be the reason they are eliminating this office or other agencies of the government? Possibly you could develop a plan that would streamline this agency/office and head-up a new trimmed down version in the future. Partner up with someone that is influential in regards to the archives. Develop a project to protect and the proper storage of these archives. I pray that a resource or person will come your way and you can continue forward in this regard. Just a thought. I think there will be other opportunities that will arise for you, especially now that you are an official citizen !

Good evening Mitch jan. I think since you speak English very well you should be able to find a job either in tourism as a guide, or an office job working remotely. To become a tourist guide there are some courses that you need to take, they are not very expensive. There are also a lot of jobs as a truck load dispatcher, but they are kind of stressful. I believe you will find something better.

Mr. Mitch you need to refrain from getting or meddling in politics in Armenia. Most Armenians are very sensitive and very serious about politics. Sorry to hear you and al others lost there job, did they not give a reason for the discontinued of the department. Or is it that there are no funds for relocate the department to a new building now that they are sold.

Assume they did a study of the success of this department?

It's a shame to see that you have been receiving death threats for your justified views on the protests.Those claiming to be "True Christians" are doing the exact opposite of what god has said in the bible. I was in Armenia a few years ago and was very saddened about the high-rises going up Armenia / yeah everyone is going to turn into a Visually ugly landscape. It’s a shame they’re not learning from other countries and managing things carefully. Look at Paris no ugly high-rises.
