I fish a couple of ponds and lakes in my area of NJ and the ones that have crappie have a better than average size bass in them compared to ones with bluegills only

Nice crappies! I've only caught a handful of crappies in my area while targeting bass, perhaps I'll take on some of your strategies to target some crappie!!!
