like Phu was talking about me when I started the whole journey for my son's BMX bike. Bought online, had Phu fix it, later find out it was wrong geometry for him, Phu built a whole custom bike for he shreds better than ever lol. Get cool with your local bike isn't kidding when he says you'll probably break your bike when you don't know what you're doing lol.

I learned how to ride on 20 in. BMX when I was five, my father owned a restaurant & he said 2 teens went in ordered/ate and bailed w/o paying leaving the bike behind he thought it might be stolen but he brought it home & it was love at 1st sight for me. I would graze my little jewelry on the top tube but that didn't stop me I climbed it/crashed it and learned how to ride!

I'm 6'1" ride 20" and love it ! They can always be adjusted to fit in less your e 7' something. It's all on your style of riding, I've seen people my size cramped on a tiny 12" and skooling it! Just like nobbies are for dirt riding and slicks are for street.

It is crazy that the demand is so much higher then the supply with bicycles right now. After market used prices are even really high. My wife bought my kid a used om-duro. I said why didn't we just spend a lil more for a new one. My kid laughed. He said their just aren't any new ones. They been gone. I looked em up & was shocked. They been gone bro along with anything similar. All pre-orders with non guaranteed shipping dates. Unreal. Even walmart bike racks are still empty.

What a great video. Trying to make a decision for my Grandson. Bikes have come a long way from the old days of the original Mongoose.

My son is 7, he can acctually ride a 18" just fine. The 20 is still too big for him.. But i got him a 16" cult. It fits him perfect and he can try to start doing tricks when hes ready.

Love videos talking about size and what people ride but what I would really like to know is alfs top tube length because you can get many lengths with 20 inch wheels

Think i got talked into the wrong size bike for my boy by my local bike shop. Should have got him an 18" I think (instead of 20") I'll take note of sizing him on it and perhaps he'll be getting an 18 for Christmas.
