The Sultan of Swing is a once in a century player. Blessed to have witnessed greatness (late 80’s and early 90’s). Although at that time it was tough being Indian fan. These current players are not on that level. Unfair to compare them with greats. Implement the best available system, trust the system, chase greatness and success will follow. Sri-Lanka is a current example. After hiring Jayasurya, they look like a different team.

I am from India. I love cricket and have been following the game since early 90's. I must say that this is the weakest Pakistan cricket team I have witnessed in the last 34 years. I still remember how, back in the 90s, Pakistan used to always have an upper hand against us. Even in the 2000's, your team used to be extremely competitive. This is the team which produced the legendary cricketers like Wasim Akram (One of my all time favorite cricketers) and Imran Khan. We were calling Pakistan as factory of fast bowlers! Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Aaqib Javed, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul, Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Amir - the list just goes on. In the spin department, you had Saqlain Mushtaq (Another one of my favorite cricketers), Mushtaq Ahmed, Danish Kaneria, Saeed Ajmal. Your country produced one of the greatest all rounders of all time, Imran Khan. Then came Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood. In batting department, you had Saeed Anwar (One of my all time favorite batsmen. He was a class act!), Inzamam, Saleem Malik, Ijaz Ahmed, Yousuf Youhana, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Afridi. I mean, when you look back, there's such a legacy but the current team is not even looking like their shadows! I don't know what's happening in Pakistan cricket but I sincerely hope they come out of this mess. World cricket needs a strong Pakistan cricket team.
