This is the perfect workout for this age group. As an ex-runner and gym goer, I find HIIT, Cardio and any high-impact hard on my joints. I walk a lot with three dogs and a very large garden to maintain, but I must keep my muscle tone and burn fat. This is an enjoyable workout, and the beauty is that you can choose your weights. I really enjoy it and notice the 'DOMS' the next day, even though it hasn't taken a toll on my lower back and knees. Thanks so much, Joe, for all your wonderful knowledge and for doing this workout. Just because we reach peri menopause, it doesn't mean we have to give up on keeping fit and healthy.

Thank you for doing work outs for us that need something different. Age 52 menopause. I did try some of your others on the app but was too hard for a person who just started doing excerise regularly. I can manage to watch you tube on TV. I do a lot of walking and I like zumba. Needed to add some weights.

Dude thanks for this. I am 39 and hit perimenopause the last 6 months or so and symptoms have SUCKED. I was a college athlete, always naturally in shape. I have always done yoga daily and cardio and that’s been enough to keep me lean and somewhat muscular until now. My diet is pretty healthy as well. 6 months ago I started getting hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, menstrual changes, inexplicable weight gain in the middle, and have noticed my muscle mass decreasing at a pretty obnoxious rate. My doctor said to start weight training again to keep my muscle mass from decreasing with age to help with basically everything that comes with aging and menopause. It really sucks when you are used to your body looking and performing one way and like overnight it’s doing all this crap it’s never done before and not looking or performing at 100% it’s honestly a mind f*ck.
