Breaking Down TJ Hunt's Subaru BRZ | FIRST BUILD (Miley)

We don't often go back in time to talk about our first car builds, but I think we should. The days of odd design decisions, questionable mods, and outright terrible choices sometimes lead us to the quality builds we now have in our own garage's today. That's even more true when we look at TJ Hunt's first rendition of "Miley" his Subaru BRZ. Today we talk a little bit on his modifications, was his car turned into, and how TJ's story beginnings feel an awful lot like our own. If you enjoyed, don't forget to subscribe -

I miss old TJ, I don't like his new content, I'm SUPER glad for him, just I can't relate anymore

Never seen an episode from his channel. It's funny I don't follow many big or popular youtubers. I like the ones that keep their cars and don't just build n flip for views and dropping merch on us. Or "giveaways" when u buy their merch.

Adam lz? Who literally has 50+ cars RAN his own drift company won drift tournaments. Has a literal compound with multiple huge garages full of cars. Other YouTubers like tj store vehicles in his massive garages... Now let's not talk about cleetus. I have watched them all but lately I don't watch tj anymore. Loved it when it felt original when he was doing shit on cars he had no clue how to do in Calvin's garage. Been watching Adam lz since his early BMX days of doing BMX trick tutorials probably ten years now. Just think the whole origins story is a stupid thing to say. Adam lz literally built his YouTube from early YouTube days. And transitioned into the car scene and has now some of the cleanest cars.

..."back then?" 2014 is considered a long time ago?

I just wish those older channels that grew to be so big didn’t always inevitably lose their spirit when money was no longer an issue. Always have been and will be happy for them, but as a car guy it’s hard to feel very interested in the current “well we can buy anything and pay anyone to build it with virtually no budget, how can we bReAk ThE iNtErNeT?” model.

I think stradmans origin is more authentic, literally from the bottom to the top.
