Napoleon Hill (Think and Grow Rich) SCAM & FRAUD? [2024]

Показать описание
Napoleon Hill is a fraud and scam artist.

Think and Grow Rich is a great book, but Napoleon Hill is a criminal

The Law of Attraction only works when you put in the work.

The Secret and Law of Attraction is important because positive psychology is important.

But... much more importantly, while the book and associated message is good, the man behind it, Napoleon Hill, was a criminal and one of the biggest scammers and scam artists.

Lies that are repeated continuously should never modify truth and a person's legacy

Google Napoleon Hill Fraud and read the Paleofuture article for more information

People, especially online, seek VALIDATION, NOT TRUTH

But you should always seek truth

I definitely believe that Think and Grow Rich is a great book

But ACTION modifies your thoughts and beliefs

Hill was a fraud. He was arrested multiple times

He died penniless

He never met presidents

Napoleon Hill defrauded his students

Why should you care?

Because people who lie and are frauds should not be able to modify your thoughts

They should be vilified, not celebrated

When they are celebrated, they scam innocent people and hurt others which leads to anger which hurts everyone.

I recommend “100 ways to motivate yourself” by Steve Chandler instead or The Art of War by Sun Tzu. I avoid frauds like Tony Robbins or N Hill

I came across Napoleon Hills books in 2011, since then, ALL his principles have been working for me. Read about what Napoleon called "Go the Extra Mile"

Anyone watching this video even bothered reading that article? did anyone bother finding out if there is a “dark side” to this YouTuber? Anyone bother doing some research about the author of that article? So let’s assume everyone has a dark side & everyone is full of.. Nep. Hill an author of a book that has sold more than 60mil copies or this YouTuber or the guy that wrote that article, who would you like to spend an hour with if you had to choose?

You said it yourself. Napoleon stole this book from someone else, so we can just follow them since they seem legit lmao. I am a Christian and i read the book of Napoleon. Believe it or no, there is a lot of biblical references there, and if it wasn’t Napoleon who wrote it kudo to the man who did. Nobody is perfect by the way, and Jesus is the only role model I 100% trust. But some advices of Napoleon hills book were really helpful because he encourage peoples to have a Claire positive mind. I wasn’t okay with the fact that he was a big fan of Darwin but it didn’t change the fact that his advices were helpful

One thing all these writers and motivational speakers and CEOs Of MLMs share is, that they have the ability to convince people and brainwashing them by partially saying the truth, but the rest is alwaaaays faaar from reality. BUT THIS IS HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS. PEOPLE BELIEVE IN IT AND DON‘T WANT THEIR ILLUSIONS TO BE DESTROYED. Please add your opinion to these lines if you hear this. Again thank you...

I love his books. He definitely is not a fraud. I changed my first name legally that doesnt prove someones not who they are. There is some Proof he did interview dale carnegie when he was a teen working for the newspaper. You really have research it out more. I did and i even know the name of the magazine he worked for and they were interviewing successful people for articles of the magazine. So its all very possible now. If he did do any shady stuff nothing new same with some entrepreneurs today. I like him. Was hard times back then and he was writing his books and pamphlets from way back, he made it work. And he didn't die broke. That was more info to discredit him. He died a millionaire and had merged with another source company to secure himself more when struggling. It went well. He had a mansion house and property you can google it and see. Did he expand the truth a little here and there? Well maybe, many writers do that today to make their books more interesting. Nothing new under the sun.

First off, Napoleon was his name just not his first name. He did meet Andrew Carnegie, if came out, he just added his own stories. Plenty of his employees were stealing and blaming him. You need to read HIS WHOLE STORY

It’s one of the 48 laws of power bro. I just look at the positive message and pick the meat and leave the bones.

Whether the man was a fraud or not, you cannot discredit the message in his work. A positive attitude will always yield a better outcome than a negative attitude.

We can be suspicious and even say Napoleon was a fraud. But I want you to listen his Rare Recordings (all 9 hours ) and just tell me if you heard something better in your life when it comes to success in private and professional life. What he said in these recordings is just mind- blowing.

Does this mean the information in his books are useless? Bob Proctor has been reading that book for about 60 years according to him and he refers to it in every online/in person speech he gives and based his entire life around that book and ended up being a multi millionaire so was that a coincidence in your eyes or did Bob waste 60 years of his life even though he became very successful.

Nah he's a clown. He didnt invent the law of attraction or anything, its a fairy tale at best.

I’ve read the book twice and listened a few times. Bob Proctor claims to read it often over many years.
I was taken back when I read what Wikipedia reported about him.

Dan Pena really has changed my mind in regards to "personal development" and Napoleon Hills writings. I use to believe that stuff was my answer to succeeding in life and now I regard it as the closing touching closing message of a full house episode for adults.

There's two kinds of wise people. Those who are naturally good at making good decisions and choices and those who aren't. The advice from both would sound the same and IS the same, but their lives don't match. For example, Hill says one should never do or say anything that would hurt rather than benefit another person, because when you hurt someone, you hurt yourself at least 10 times as much. Perhaps he lived with a lot of pain from his bad decisions and choices. His life and choices don't invalidate his wisdom anymore than an alcoholic telling you it isn't worth it to become an alcholic.

In the end, one should never swallow (or discredit) the words of another, based on what is seen and known about that person. Rather, test everyone's words for truth, take what is good and toss what is not. You gain nothing from ripping up another human being, even if he deserves it ( just as Hill says). Nobody else gains anything either.
