Take the high road Ben, good for you. Lou was cut due to his stats rather than two gals at the same time.

I hope Darko works with Carlson because he could be a younger version of Olynyk so they could trade him at the dead line. T.O. can use his height and skillet.

This is what Lou is telling himself but it doesn’t make it true. Lou’s wasn’t as good with the raptors as he was with the sixers and the Lakers. He wasn’t good in the playoffs and I remember when Casey would just give him the ball to go ISO at the end of every quarter, and I don’t think he scored once on those Iso 3’s. He was also at the club every night popping bottles with every Toronto Rapper.

I remember not being very impressed by Lou Will. His time with the Raptors as I recall was that of a streaky shooter that fell flat on his face when we needed him most. I also remember not being terribly upset when he was traded from the Raptors. He was a small, slight, and a horrible defender. I remember thinking if he can't provide us the offense and 3pt spacing this team needed he had to go. Then he goes on to become 6th man of the year and one of the most prolific 3pt shooters in the league during that era. That told me that he never wanted to be a Raptor and never gave us anywhere near his best. Piss on Lemon Pepper Lu!

If they want to take steps toward improving the young core over the next couple of seasons, adding a Demar or someone with his experience that can still play at a high level(not Temple) would be great. An 8-10 year player who has won a lot of games with a solid playoff team to enforce a winning attitude could be big for fans !

This is old news. It was absolutely why Lou was not renewed. He went public having 2 Common-law wives on social media and elsewhere. Even the wives went public talking about their unconventional family and sisterhood on socials. Masai didn’t need the Drake track - Lou did that himself.

His murky defence and iffy playoff performance was icing on a cake already baked. Lou can score but he’s never been known to defend or pass - so he’s real easy to handle in playoffs when defence is more dialed in.

Masai cleaned his locker room of all the immaturity that year. He ditched Amir Johnson too because of perceived immaturity clubbing and locker room antics - and Greivis was getting in weird altercations - like at Chuck e Cheese and grocery stores in the city’s west end and stuff so often MLSE had to give security to take his family out and he was becoming a headache..

I think you start GD (in a y csse really) but you bring BB and whoever in at 5 minute mark and then RJ and IQ run out there for a bit, then swap them back out. Then reverse that in 2nd half. Scottie and Gradey 3 shorter stints (gradey less so) and IQ RJ 2 bigger stints

The Raptors do need to be bigger . They look really small next to teams like Orlando and others. You can say some of the players play big, Mogbo and Mitchell but it is still not the same.

Lou also stopped playing defense after he won the 6th man award. We were team oriented and Will was only focused on personal stats.

BB we need to rehab him until he is 100% and then ramp to starter or at least 27 mpg so a trade can be done.

Lou's comments have little to do with the raptors. He's previously acknowledged that he was cut because he wasn't focused on basketball and it was both deserved and helped get his head right.
This was about getting out of Drake's cultural circle. Demar did the same thing.

How did that convo go?, ,, Darko: "Bruce, we're going with Gradey as starting 2 guard." ... Bruce: "I'm gettting knee surgery!"

The fact that Bruce brown is with us for another season is nasty work.. smh why is he Guys like Shead should be getting his minutes.. and I don’t know why ochai is still on this team either. 🤦🏾‍♂️

For the Raptors to improve the coach has to change his format by moving the ball on the court instead of players standing around doing nothing.
Look at how the Boston Celtics move the ball before a player attempts to make a shot.

I think Derozan's energy around Lebron is why he was traded. Hard to believe in someone whose continually expressed feeling like a victim. He was also traded him for a superstar robot. In my mind, a vindictive trade towards Kawhi (who hates the cold and loves Cali) by the Spurs. It likely wasn't their best offer.

Lou-Will left for more money 💰. He was 6man of the year that season!

We got swept by Washington. An inferior team and lower seed. Dwayne Casey made comments that LOU COULD NOT DEFEND. Nothing to do with anything else.

Lou Williams was a high volume low efficiency SG that was a terrible defender…. That’s why he wasn’t re-signed. Good rapper tho!!
