i'm still in awe at how beautifully written hamilton is. the lyrics are superb, and the continuity of the score is just flawless. the ending of that would be enough is the start of it's quiet uptown

When I saw Hamilton and heard this song it brought back all my experiences of being in the Army and putting my duties before my family. This includes deployments and long hours at work. It gets tough to decompress and appreciate being home. I remember looking at my wife during the song and tearing up.
