How fast can you beat Minecraft with JUST Half a Heart?

Today I'm trying to beat Minecraft in the latest (at the time) version of Minecraft with just half a heart in hardcore mode. I've beaten Minecraft over 4,000 times, but how hard is it when one hit from anything can kill me?

5:08 - Armor does matter a lot in half-heart, if you can get damage reduction over 50% (toughness from diamond boots + helmet helps a ton, plus gold chest/pants) for small amounts of damage, you can safely take a half heart hit like a 3-block drop or mostly-blocked bed explosion.
