Interesting fact about the gt-1000core, if you put the divider block first in the chain, you can use it with 2 guitars simultaneously with L/R inputs with 2 completely separated paths and amps (up to the mixer, but you can put outputs before that). Even the divider icon changes to reflect that. Also, with 2 jacks plugged in, you can recall a input level preset for both guitars individually. Still not as impressive as 4 separate paths, but worth mentioning as is doesn't stand out from the manual (nor from your gt-1000core course 😉).

You don't seem to get it, concerning the foot-switches (and some other things as well): The "wobble" has to be there for them not to break over time when stomped on hard: So part of the force is neutralized. If they were "stiff" they would be much more prone to break. Also less talking and more demoing would be nice...

I have the kemper, the helix rack and this. The quad feels and sounds the best to me. They all benefit from an external pedal but the quad can do it the best without one. Only other modeler that feels and sounds great is the powered Yamaha double 100hd modeler. I imagine the Axe Fx is great but too much tweaking for me. The qc is less tweaking besides the Yamaha. All used through a regular guitar cab.

I believe the wiggle play in the footswitch is intentionally done.

You seriously can’t take the 2 seconds to wipe off the switches once a week? It also has a warranty. If you spend that much money on something, but you don’t treat it like it costs that much, then hey maybe you ought to be an old pod. It deserves to be treated with the care it deserves, not just scrutiny.

Good video. Using the FX loop as additional instrument input is great, been using that feature on my Helix for quite some time, for our singer to play occasional second guitar parts.

I hear ya Ben....I know you're a BOSS man myself Hey, if your good your good right???? Boss makes {and has been) top notch, quality They are IMO, the Looper KIngs!!!! Im trying to get a Boss RC 3 off E-bay, but then i think that Boss is or has quit making these, and are focusing on they're newer line-up. I just can't afford to drop $200 + right now on one.Oh well, hopefully i will win this bidding war im engaged in lol....Keep up all the good work Ben!!!! Stay safe and PEACE!!!!

Wow, I'm considering getting 1000 CORE, and you comparing it to the QC sure sounds encouraging. Then I go on thegearpage and they s**t on everything that isn't L6. Then I fire up my tube amp and wonder do I really need it. Then I turn on interface and Helix Native and think I should just get Helix LT. Then I watch your video and decide on the Boss. Then I go on thegearpage...
