If this ends up being true, I'm a happy man. Best software experience I've ever had was on OnePlus One with CyanogenMod. I moved from the OPO to OnePlus 5t. Still pretty good stuff! I'm now looking for a new phone again, but I don't like the turns OnePlus have made the last few years... They settled in a bad way.
My perfect phone:
• Fingerprint reader on the back.
• Headphone jack on top.
• the rounded back and grippy sandstone texture from OnePlus One.
•customizable Smart gestures when screen is turned off. Eg, V for flashlight, S for Spotify, O for camera, etc.
• Alert slider to quickly turn sound on/off.
• RGB notification led, showing different colours depending on where the notification is from.
• No Bloatware.
• Software/security updates for the lifetime of the phone. (Think Fairphone with their seven(!) years of updates.)
• Flagship or near flagship hardware.
• Good camera software. (It's more important nowadays. Compare Sony's great cameras and crappy software with Pixel's good cameras with great software.)

My only comment is my OnePlus 11 is incredible. Especially with the 16 GB/256 or storage. Got it on sale for $599 at Best buy. And the charging speed is like nothing I've ever experienced

I think 43 k is too much for nothing now, just its their 2 phone a 10 k price hike, despite similar phones in this lrice segment makes nothing risky to invest unless you have the money

Nothing seems to be swinging for the premium fences. Oneplus got there after over 5 years of building a name for themselves.
