Just recently purchased the cash binder and started budgeting my money. I only budget 200 and leave the rest in the bank for my car payment and insurance. I'm a single guy, so budgeting 200 should be easy.

I love your color schemas! Most budgeting videos are pinkish in general, and it is nice to see strictly earth toned colors, as those colors are up my alley. Nobody has to agree w me, but consider opening a custodial account for ur kid. Allowances do help, but this is the best age to start explaining them about saving for their future.

My great aunt and great uncle were very poor jewish couple married in the depression, both became school teachers for life and lived week by week (day by day) using this “enveloped method” and taught it to us all, as they had successfully completed 30 years each with the school boards, were VERY active in the community AND philanthropy, became parents, grandparents, and even great grand parents, and eventually benefited from their pensions, social security, and ALL the money they saved over their lives. Keep up the hard work!
