Similarly, for numerical instabilities, we can apply 0×0=1×1 to create "controlled-chaos" numerical methods that tame the unpredictable. For example, we can introduce a "null-state" numerical scheme that temporarily sets the solution to zero, reducing numerical noise and improving convergence.
Mathematically, this can be represented as:

where δt is a small time step.
