One year in prison for perjury? That’s outrageous and criminal in itself! He put four men in prison for murder that were innocent!

That corrupt officer took 62 years from these innocent men--that's the equivalent of a life. His punishment for taking a life should be at least 20 years in prison.

The sentence was a joke. He should have been given a minimum of 45 years before even being considered for parole.

If the world really was fair, this detective would have been sentenced to at least as much time behind bars as the men his deception sent away.

Men served a combination of 62 years after being wrongfully convicted and this low life only gets one year? Disgusting!!!

Can you imagine being an innocent man sitting in a courtroom and listening to a police officer lie on the stand as to your guilt, trying to put you away for decades?

That's not enough time for the lives he wrecked.

The sentence that the innocent man got should’ve been given to the officer.

every case he has been involved in should be made null and the defendants released.

He shouLd have to lose as much of his life as he caused them to lose, all combined!! That sentence is like a slap in the face to those victims.

Outrageous! All those people willing to see innocent men in prison for murders they didn't commit. Where's justice?

All his victims should sui this ex-cop directly so that for the rest of his life he'll be working for them. Let me tell you when you hit someone in his pockets it's a nightmare.

A YEAR ???? this court system is a joke! He put innocent men in jail and only got a year? Animals

This police officer needs to be sued and taken to civil court for more justice and definitely without a doubt more time than he received

“a combination of 62 years that these men have served, and he got one?” We all feel that. There’s no dam way that justice is being served here. There’s little to deter the next rotten investigator, prosecutor, judge, from egregiously abusing innocent defendants. One stinking year.

This judge should be sentenced to 20 years to allow someone who tampered with evidence to only serve 1 year. As luck would have it, he should be put in a cell with someone he framed, and they're serving life. That would be justice.
