So.... I finally disclosed to my Dad what I needed all the family photos for.
Dad and I watched it together.
He gave me his approval after getting emotional, and me pausing it halfway for a tissue/toilet break.
He said it was respectful. I hoped he would approve...
We hugged, and Dad told me that he reckoned Nanna and Grandpa, both would have loved the Story too.
A teary, emotional day for both of us.
He said to me, he has may stories of his own, and I said write them down Dad, I can share them for you....
we'll see if that happens, I guess....
Love you Dad❤, you are and always have been my hero.

It does take some time writing and making, but it is so worth it!
I have found that writing my stories down is wonderful healing for both the mind, and the body. The emotional release from disclosing my stories, thus far, has been both empowering, and invigorating!
Oh, and just remember,
anything that we put out in the universe,
for example, how we treat others,
magnifies by 10 times or more,
so, c'mon let's all be kind to our fellow human brothers and sisters! We are all threads, part of the same fabric ;)

Excellent conversation. There are things that can't be explained. Things we will never understand, or need to.
In the end we will all be fine. Nothing to worry about. Be amazed but don't dwell on trying to work it all out.

It's great to hear a report from Maralinga regarding the UFOs and the local people's reactions. How interesting it would be to know what actually happened to the family during their long sleep.

My grandfather also worked at Maralinga. I tried asking about it before he died but he wasn't talkative. Died of cancer.
