Le Concours Musical International Montréal vise à découvrir et aider les jeunes chanteurs, violonistes et pianistes qui se distinguent par la maîtrise de leur art. Il est le seul concours international en Amérique du Nord à être tenu annuellement et à présenter trois disciplines en alternance sur un cycle de trois ans. Depuis la première édition consacrée au chant en 2002, plus de 2 400 candidats se sont inscrits au Concours et près de 400 ont été accueillis à Montréal, pour le plus grand plaisir des mélomanes.
The Montreal International Music Competition seeks to discover and support young singers, violinists, and pianists who demonstrate exceptional mastery of their art. It’s the only international competition in North America to be held annually and to present three disciplines in a three-year rotation. Since its first edition dedicated to voice in 2002, more than 2,400 hopefuls have entered the Competition and nearly 400 have performed in Montreal, much to the delight of music lovers.
