Back in the 90s, I and a couple of friends took a rear-ended 2.8 injection capri and a midnight blue coloured mk4 cortina and butchered them together.
Lots of smiles were generated, lots of knuckles bruised, lots of hassle from the local rozzers.
This build brings back lots of memories of that car, especially the modded front end.😀👍

As a teenager in the late 70's and early 80's I was brought up on cars like this
My dad had several MK4 and 5s over the years but no 2 doors
In the next street along there was a 2 door 2.0S in metallic red that I absolutely loved
This car took me back to my teens in an instant
Just fantastic in every way!

My dad was military, grew up in Germany, Turkey, the UK (dad was a commander at RAF Lakenheath)...I would love to have a Euro 2-door Cortina here in the US. When I build stuff, it is to drive & enjoy. "Hat tip" to this man & his creation
