You're not crazy, your black jeans smell

A lot of chemicals go into making your black jeans dark and keeping them that way. And it doesn't really seem like there's a super effective way to get the smell to go away, so you're better off trying to avoid it from the beginning. It is more common with fast fashion, but even really expensive jeans can come with a funky smell. Oh and DO NOT listen to the internet when it tells you to bake them. That's a major fire hazard. #fyi #clothes #hack

Oh yeah. Mine was bad. Even after 4 wash. Not THAT much better. Lucky there’s a few solutions I just found. Soak in vinegar or baking soda before the wash. Will give that a try.

Walmart jeans, e.g., Levi's, Wranglers, and George jeans, smell like mothballs mixed with a formaldehyde.

My no boundaries black jeans still smell after 10 washings. I won't wear them in public, they smell so bad. Does a vinegar wash help?

OMG I KNEW it had to be because of the dye! My black jeans smelled burnt and they felt slightly moist even after washing them a couple times. So I put them up. Decided to try em again after months and they STILL smelled and were kinda wet to the touch.
