hey Darby, in case you want some info for the games you just played, Mario 85 is about a kid named Lucas who is trapped within the body of luigi, and is being tormented by a enitity know as MX, which was the big black version of mario.
as for 1-1 exe, I'm not sure about the story, but it has a demonic block that you trapped in a loop for its own amusement

In the first game when that Mario (Also known as MX) says “Lucas” that’s referring to the 8 year old kid you are playing as….what makes the port MORE creepy is that Lucas grabbed a copy of Super Mario Bros. for the classic NES, later….Lucas passes out and wakes up in the world as Luigi…….the Luigi you play as……and some people may know but idk why MX wants Lucas…..but that’s up to you and everyone else to find out………………..……

The only thing I might be nitpicking about is the beginning of all the normal looking 1-1 had the wrong blocks at one point. Otherwise, it looks very nice game and I really enjoy the color based one. Pretty sure you can touch a dark red block if the text is the brighter red as well. Also interesting little hint of Sonic.EXE in there from the block. I guess the other ending required to jump over the flagpole and collect three different letters or something alike that when it was possible to jump over the flagpole. Last thing, when the level turned more spooky, the music sounds to be in reversed with the effect.
