The last commentator, Nick Buckley, was spot on with everything he said. Bravo sir! We need more of him…

Absolutely, charity should begin at home. The foreign aid budget should be scrapped. If any country has difficulties that the UK HAS to help with, the army should be sent in to offer the aid, using UK tax payers cash. Not a single penny should be given to any foreign NGO, government or charity and any attempt at robbery of the funds or resources should be met with full military force followed by a withdrawal of ALL offered aid.

It is literally over for the Westminster establishment. All they do is argue and nothing is ever done. Vote Reform everyone, we so desperately need change and at least some sanity!

One of the hard lessons you learn as a parent is you can't be a good parent if you don't look after yourself as well. When you have a child, your natural instinct (at least, it was for me) is to give them everything they need, no matter how much struggle it takes to get it. To give them all of you, to the point you have nothing left for yourself. The thought of having or doing anything for yourself brings immense guilt, and you feel like the worst parent in the world. Even if it's putting aside an hour to read instead of doing the ironing or something. You feel guilty. And over time it wears you down and can make you really sick, which is what happened to me. Why have I said all this? Because I think an analogy could be made between this and foreign aid/immigration. You can't help other countries when your own country is already incredibly sick. You'll end up making your country even sicker, while not giving foreign countries and people the help they really need. You'll end up in a vicious cycle where the sick get sicker and very few get any real help. The UK needs to be healthier before it can offer any impactful help to others.

As for nurses starting out at low 20, 000, sorry, but I can't feel bad for them, nor train workers, not when the working class are suffering so much more, and they don't have these unions to fight for them, despite working just as hard for less. We're no getting pay rises, we don't have good conditions. We don't have people fighting for us, saying this isn't good enough and that isn't good enough. We're simply a number. 20, 000+ a year? Most working class, full-time, can only dream of making so much.

Those vouchers are worthless to someone without a printer or a smart phone. They should have sent letters with a tear off strip. Luckily I have a printer, but theres millions that don't.
