The Ring Nebula is a bright planetary nebula, close by the bright Vega star and so is easy to find even in the brighter summer months with a small telescope. This episode contains detailed instructions on how to find the Ring Nebula and what it looks like.

The M57 nebula has the additional designations NGC 6720 and GC 4447.
