Video of Arsenal team signing young mascot's shirt divides opinions

Twitter users were left divided after Arsenal tweeted this video, showing a young mascot getting a shirt signed by players and manager Mikel Arteta.
Some fans were outraged as seemingly none of the Arsenal players appeared to acknowledge the girl, while others defended the team, who are chasing the Premier League title.

"Maybe less headphones and more interaction with the wee girl - fans like her are the ones that keep you where you are as a player who in the media team thought this video was positive??!!", said one user.

"A team in the midst of a title race are asked to sign a shirt moments before a London derby vital to winning a 1st league title in 19 years, without being told why, and politely oblige. But 2023 Twitter is crying because they didn’t pat the mascot on the head. Grow up", said another.

I love how people are defending the players. It's called common courtesy, respect and manners. Take out your earphones/headphones and say "Hello, how are you?" It's not difficult. Millionaires who forget where they have come from and the fans who pay their wages.

Okay....so a little girl had the entire Arsenal squad line up and sign a shirt for her. You'd swear they all showed middle finger to her as they passed when you read about it. People are looking for something to be mad at all the time on the internet what the hell.
