CRUSH ON RETRO

Not Recommended. Sizing is wrong and seller refuses to discuss. They recommended a very short boot which is not wearable.

I’m the dude ash shouted out, I bought those boots from Dale’s review, the exact ones in the video. The boots are legit man, all the materials are valid man, I’ve chewed Bryce’s ear off to find out. He could charge more man, but he’s trying to get his reputation up. You’re looking at it skeptically because of the price and location, but they’re legit man. All of them are reproductions, the engineers I have are Red Wing repros. Really well done too 💯

Hey cool boots. That looks like a Norwegian welt. The stitching is on the outside of the upper to hold that storm welt onto the boot. The second outer row of stitching is through the flat part of the welt holding the boot to the mid and outsole. Very waterproof design and looks pretty well done. As to the two rows of stitches on the bottom of the outsole, it’s likely they stitched the outsole and the midsole together off the boot before stitching them to the welt. Enjoy those! Just ordered a pair of engineers from COR, hope they ain’t too short. 😅

Many of the boots they sell you can find all over eBay, Etsy, and AliExpress. Definitely a re-seller/contractor. I'm tempted by this boot in Stead oiled shoulder, although truthfully unless I work wildland this summer, I won't need more boots for awhile.

I ordered an engineer boot from them, they are real Dr soles, I was concerned about that also, the quality is very good.

Great review. Thanks for sharing this. I’m currently looking into a couple pairs from CoR, so I appreciate the sizing info.

Wasn’t aware of this brand, but new ones are coming out all the time. Looks like a clean boot, the welt stitching looks great. I’m lucky to be a medium size dude at an 11 Brannok 😂

I will say in the past I've had the same problems with Nick's shipping, but my most recent purchase from Nick's came with the boots separated by cardboard structured cardboard which was very effective at keeping the boots from moving around

It would be awesome to give an update down the road. These look like Whites or Wesco quality

I think they look fantastic. They look much like Wesco boots as you mentioned.

Great video. Thanks for covering the sizing, I would love to pick up a pair but being a size 13 looks like a no go.

I'm considering buying this exact boot on the hatchgrain pattern. I've got a pair of their Ironclad coming. I'll wait to see how they fit first.

The CXL I got on mine is thick and was clicked well a lot better than some more expensive boots that I have. The build quality is great. I'm having a pair of monkey's built now with Dublin leather and the cats paw/ biltrite soul.

It probably is Bison just not Shrunken Bison from Law Tanning in Milwaukee.

The packaging looks like the equivalent of the cartoon character drinking from a can that just generically says “beer” on the side 😂

I believe that would be real bison, but water buffalo bison rather than rare American buffalo bison. Especially because it is more common for asian leaders to be water buffalo then cow leather as they have them as usual animal to farm rather than cows. What you are referring to is shrunken bison leather. If it was processed/ dried on glass it looks like regular stearhide but with somewhat different hair pores and brake.
