This an old video, but the reason they are so sweet even though they dont have a lot of due is because of the amount of potassium in them. Most people low sodium while working out. Hence, most energy drinks taste salty. They added a lot of pots so they would taste good despite the low sugar. They won't do much in terms of recovery. Mat Pat did a video on this, so thanks to him for this info.
