They way that Weaver/Mr Gold says "deary" at the last part is when you KNOW that he is awake. 😁

Sometimes, Robert Carlyle just likes to kick the viewer in the teeth with his God tier acting.
And I'm sure you can see why season 7 is so popular now, it's such a huge leap ahead in storytelling from the past few seasons(as much as I loved Storybrooke, this season is much more fantastical, daring and creative, and I wish we'd had it a bit sooner).

That final scene between Rumple and Belle absolutely destroyed me. I was always so nervous about the Rumple/Belle relationship throughout the entire series. I so, so, wanted them to get their happily ever after. Robert Carlyle is brilliant in this role.

The music and the house makes me so sad every time, the UP type sequence is so depressing. The music from UP always makes me cry :(

Rumplestiltskin's awake once again!!! Thank you for another great reaction for Once Upon a Time. I really enjoyed it, like always. And wow... this episode was so heartbreaking, but really good and like you said... phenomenal acting between Robert Carlyle and Emilie De Ravin. It's tragic how Belle's story ended, yet very beautiful too. I loved how the prophecy tied to her death, and that it would help Gold find a way to rid himself of the dagger and the darkness once and for all so he can finally return one day Belle. It's just very sad how she became sick and died, but I loved seeing the flashbacks of past episodes between them as Belle told their story before she died.

I liked that Gold and Belle found a new land together called the Edge of Realms where time, but not age stops. Their life together was quite beautiful, as they built a new home and worked together to find a way to help him rid himself of the dagger. I will say that I felt the timeline in this episode was a bit confusing at first, especially with seeing Gideon three different ages. But I eventually caught on. The timeline this season, more so than any other time within the show's seven seasons so far is more complicated because they're kind of more all over the place, but after re-watching this episode and a few others, I was able to put the puzzles together so to speak. Even the brief scene between Gold and Alice when he first walks through a portal into the New Enchanted Forest and runs into her confused me, and only made me more confused. Alice was chasing the white rabbit and we even saw Henry drive right past Rumple on his bike, but neither men recognized each other? I didn't understand it until later on. Which if you're confused now, hopefully you will come to understand the timelines better later on too.

I had to admit, when Gold told Belle that there was a chance he could give up his immortality so that he could live one life and grow old with her, I immediately was skeptical. First, because while Gold chose to turn against his power in the season six finale and was able to live so long resisting it, he has never given up his power for her in the past and he never actually found a way to rid himself of the power for good. Therefore a part of me didn't believe he meant what he told Belle here. However, I hoped I would be surprisingly be wrong and thankfully, I was. This episode really shows that Rumple truly has changed for good, which I love and I'm really happy for them.

I loved the opening scene between Belle, Gold, and their son in Storybrooke. It was so nice to see Granny's again and more of the town itself again, as we've only ever seen the ocean surrounding Storybrooke from the Jolly Roger so far this season. And I really saw how far Gold's come to keep fighting against his power. This scene between them was so sweet.

As for Alice... I loved all of her many references to Alice in Wonderland, with her white rabbit mask, her puzzles, how we all wear masks, and the few words she spoke about wanting to be big and not small. I like her as a character who is mischievous and trouble and she was great when she faced up against Weaver despite her pills kicking in as she fought to wake up Rumplestiltskin from within him.

I thought that the scene as Tilly snuck into Victoria's car, was creepy, yet nicely done. I like the twist with her pills and how weaning off from them allows Alice to come through Tilly. This allows Tilly to be suspicious of how Hyperion Heights came to be and how she came to be there, but without actually knowing the truth. It was great.

I also enjoyed the first scene between Weaver and Victoria in her office, though it surprised me just how fast she learned so much about Tilly and so quickly. But aside from that, I like how Victoria threatened Weaver with prison, in order to force him to get Tilly under control, and yet while Weaver didn't know then who he really was, he still was able to mostly stand up to Victoria.

I loved the scene at Roni's between her and Henry as she comforts Henry when he tells her about finding the graves. It was very motherly of her and very sweet. Roni's costume was cute and I liked how Henry told her that her 'poisoned' apple drink could use some cinnamon. A very nice throwback to the rest of the seasons. And we saw several Halloween costumes that were a throwback as well, not just to this show, but to Disney in general. We saw a young girl dressed up as Elsa, a woman as Snow White, and we saw a family dressed as the Incredibles. Very nice!

I did enjoy the brief scene between Henry and Drizella, or Ivy. I can understand why Ivy feels the ways she does, needing to have someone's acceptance, though I think thanks to Henry, she realized that she will never have it from her mother and I like how they worked together to find Lucy. Ivy's still not very nice, but this might have been a good start.

I also really enjoyed the scene between Weaver and Rogers, as Rogers offered to help Tilly because he cared about what actually happens to the girl, hoping for a chance to help her in the belief he had failed to help the missing girl from his cold case... his daughter. But like I expected, Weaver was a real jerk about it and told Rogers he would deal with Tilly his own way. It certainly didn't work out like he planned.

Next... the scene between Weaver and Tilly in the car as she was trying to take him someplace to make him remember, was surprising. I didn't expect Tilly to tell him that he was a good man with someone waiting for him to remember who he really is and return home. She appeared to be more of a villain at first like Weaver appeared to be as well, but clearly her character is very complicated, and her multiple personalities I found very interesting.

But then she showed him the chipped teacup in hope of reminding him of who he is, claiming that her doing so was per Rumplestiltskin's orders. And then she became mad like the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland and shot him. I didn't see that coming at all. Yikes! ANd brilliant!

I liked how Rogers was the first one Weaver awoke to, other than Weaver seeing Belle's face in the fog before he came out of his haze to see Rogers standing above him. It was funny how Rogers told him he must be bloody immortal, then stated it was just a joke, seeing as Rogers can't remember he's really Captain Hook. I think that was my favorite line in the entire episode. Very funny.

And I also liked seeing Rogers come out to talk with Tilly, understanding that she wasn't in her right mind when she shot Weaver, then played chess with her. But does this hint Alice is Hook's daughter? Hmm...

And of course, Gold is now truly awake, as he called Victoria 'Dearie', then told her she would no longer be able to threaten him any longer. It's brilliant. Will Rumple continue to be good for Belle's and Gideon's sake now that he's back to himself, or will he revert back into Rumplestiltskin now that Belle is gone? You'll have to wait and see.

Overall... I really did enjoy this episode despite the few things that were a bit confusing. Thank you so much again for another fun reaction! As always... I look forward to the next episode, so until next time...

That domestic montage is based on ‘Up’ which if you’ve never seen you should just YouTube ‘Up Beginning’ and spend the rest of the day sobbing. Legit great reaction

Beautiful episode. It was lovely seeing Belle again. I'm not sure if you've ever seen it, but the montage with Rumple and Belle building their little house and living through their life was a homage to the opening of the disney pixar film UP, which was also similarly tragic. Look forward to seeing more.

Honnestly Belle never was my favorite character and they never really used her well .. but she definitely had an AMAZING last episode and by far one of the best happy endings of the whole show ! Cause she got to live the rest of her life happy and died like that ... I mean most of the people who have had their happy endings already are still alive which means something bad could happen to them anytime but not Belle ^^ And out of all the characters of the show she definitely deserved this end ^^ (Also her last episode was SO MUCH better than Emma's last episode who was good as an episode but she was barely in it so it didn't really give her a good send off ^^' )

Such a beautiful episode! It's sad to see Belle's death, but at least she had natural death at old age.
