Despite controversy, Samsung Buds3 Pro earbuds offer features like seamless Android pairing, excellent audio quality, and transparency mode. Is it possible that there’s a true AirPods competitor on the Android side? Were the previous-generation Buds2 Pro the way to go with these being a mimicry or a poorer design? NOTE: something I’d like to clarify because it was stated in video, but only briefly… (1) you have to pair to every device individually with these buds—even if registered to Samsung Account (which may be a bug, but that is what happened, (2) once paired, there is SEAMLESS handoff between Samsung devices (just as you’d get with Apple devices), however, (3) neither the AirPods nor Buds support true multi-point Bluetooth which is an abomination in 2024 and Samsung copying the worst part of Apple’s ecosystem lock-in is not cool—especially considering I think there are fewer Samsung-everything users in the world than Apple-everything.

Smart switch allows you to seamlessly swap devices. If you are watching YouTube on your Samsung tablet, a call answer will connect and automatically switch back to the tablet after the call.

I got pairs of the buds 3 pro and its not that dang hard to get them back into the case. I watched your video up to that point because obviously you were trying to make a problem were there wasn't one.

Samsung does have seamless multipoint connectivity across Samsung devices.

As a Samsung fan, I don't like these earbuds visually, the new co-CEOs that started in 2021 have taken Samsung Electronics to a weird place where they prefer to copy stuff rather than make their own new stuff...

That opening segment with the putting of the buds back into the case seems to be a skill issue, not a product issue. Plus, the buds seamlessly connect to samsung devices if you're logged into the same account without the need to pair them.

And this is the problem when you have Apple fanboys reviewing Samsung stuff. They're just so technologically backwards that they often get things wrong. Bruh, there's a SmartSwitch you can do to instantly jump from device to device. You can be playing music on your phone but then start a YouTube video on your Samsung tablet and BAM instant switch. A zoom call comes in on the laptop? BOOM!! You instantly got the audio from that.

And this is not a new thing either. I feel like this was a feature for the Buds Pro. So how are you behind with what's happening outside of Apple? Oh, right. Cause you use Apple and are always late on features.

Clearly you didn't really use these, or you don't have something set up properly. I paired the Galaxy Buds3 Pro once with my phone. They were instantly available on my Galaxy Watch7 and my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, without needing to pair again. I can even use them on my Galaxy Book3 Pro 360. And they switch seamlessly from device to device, when I start media or take a phone call on a different device. This review is so inaccurate.

One thing that always puts me off about your channel is that you are totally biased towards Apple which is a pity because the content is generally good, but this type of video is really annoying.

very misleading title
came here expecting reviews on the sound quality, yet you dedicated the majority of the video yapping about how they copied AirPod's designs lol

if you are going to talk about designs, then change the title so as to not mislead the viewers
personally, I don't mind companies copying each other to some degree and adding their own changes based on that, because that's how it leads to improvements in technology and continues to push the boundaries of technology
in the end, we as consumers all win

Spend 90% of the of the review saying or giving the impression you hate or they are just shitty product, to them to say oh by the the way it sounds better, lost longer, a better EQ, the ambient, transparency and noise cancelling sounds as good if not better that the Airpods 😂 let only dedicated 10% of the review to that😂😂😂

The way Samsung mobile is acting leaves me feeling like they are happy being the (Insert Apple product here) we have at home. From their products to their packaging they seem to be comfortable living in second place.

Received mine today and have none of the issues you've had. Take the bud out and sound stops very quickly. And virtually starts instantly the minute I put it in my ear.

Oh the Apple automatic switching sucks for me. I’m in a recording studio and whenever I try to check an Atmos mix, it’s switches to my Mac computer. Then I switch it back to my phone (where the bounced material is) then it switches back again and Logic has a meltdown about the output device. I have to keep manually switching, It’s such a pain! Anyway, my use case may be somewhat unlikely for most.

forgot to mention built in EQs. so you can have that Airpods sound with better drivers

I have seamless conection between other samsung devices on my buds 2 pro - they have to be connected to my samsung account, but i dont have to reconect when skipping from my tablet to laptop or phone 😮 why would samsung not have this feature on Buds3 pro?

One issue with multipoint is it really affects the audio quality. Because basically the device needs to maintain a low level connection with both devices and that take bandwidth and then the actual audio channel. For the first multipoint devices sometimes it’d randomly switch onto that low quality connection instead of a higher quality connection and it’d become super robotic.

Still love the feature, every Bluetooth audio device should have it.

I love how brands want you to forget that sound must be in the first place in the headphones
