When I used to play at academy I always did the hit and dash against slow players and shield the ball against short players
When I was 18 I was 181 cm tall and I could sprint 100 metres in 11.6 seconds that's my best
So yeah I was tall fast and strong so I needed less flashy skills
Also I wasn't good at stopovers or Brazilian samba skills or quick body feints. The skills I used were la croqueta, roulette, stop-and-start, hit and dash and dribbling with body as he called it shielding the ball.
