My son Theofanis Hermes, just 21.5 years old, had an accident in Tzoumerka on 30-1-2022.
He was seriously injured after falling on an icy slope. If he had the accident in a European country that has rescue helicopters and an organized system, then he would be alive.

If you have an emergency you will probably not be saved.
My son 21,5 years old died after having an accident, calling 112 for help and immediate transport to a hospital but left 5 hours waiting for the governmental help to arrive!
My son was alive and conscious for the whole 5 hours of waiting, which is a miracle considering the human nature and the fact that he had multiple injuries and bleeding.
We will always remember, my son, this talented young athlete, who left this world just because we don’t have in Greece, a European country, civil protection and immediate transfer of injured or ill citizens to a hospital…
