Being a true blue child of the 90s not bragging I was born in 1989 I owned a lot of 90's memorabilia and then some. Gosh I wanna relive the 90's for SO MANY REASONS.

I was born in 1991 and everything in this video is pretty spot on.

The buzz lightyear toy is something I wanted after seeing the first Toy Story. I thought it was so cool that there was the better toys of him that had his wings retract, helmet open, and laser button make noise. I remember having a cheap one that did none of that. I remember going over some friends of my parents as a kid and playing with their son. He had a small action figure sized buzz that had retractable wings that folded down and would pop out when you pressed a small button. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I vaguely remember pogs just by the shape of them and nothing more.

I had some super soakers. I remember they had really expensive, crazy looking ones that I never got to have. They looked like futuristic weapons.

Power rangers was really hot back in the day and was one of my favorite shows. I don't remember much of it except me and my cousin loved it and hated the blue ranger because he wore glasses. We were little assholes then. I remember one of my cousins that was my age had the power ranger sheets and curtains.

Pokemon was crazy popular back then with the games, shows, cards, and toys. I can't remember the name of the cat that used to hang out with the evil brother and sister characters in the show but I had a toy of him I remember. I also had the games on gameboy. I can still feel myself getting annoyed at the random battles popping up out of nowhere.

The nintendo 64 was pretty much my first full 3d console. Before that I had a snes. I remember my older cousin bought me Zelda: Ocarina of time as my first game. Glad to say that it's still one of my favs. I still hum the gerudo valley theme song to myself sometimes.

The snes was amazing. I remember going to flea markets as a kid and always finding games I never even heard of because they had so many games on it. That's how I found zombies ate my neighbors for the first time. I also remember waking up early in the morning, pouring a bowl of cereal and playing donkey kong country quite often. I also remember ken griffey jr baseball and how if you sat idle on the game, the player would knock on your tvs glass.

My older brother had a sega and I played quite a bit of that as well. Toejam and earl, mortal kombat, pretty much all the classics.

Had a tamagotchi but never knew what I was doing and it probably didn't go very far from there.

I had a PlayStation 1, also. My dad got it from a pawnshop because they were kinda expensive at the time. I still remember as a kid watching the pawn shop clerk plug in the composite plugs into an sdtv to show us it works and knowing that was going to be mine soon. Mgs 1, driver 1 and 2, resident evil 1, 2, 3 and so much more... The memories....

I feel like there was so much more. Gi joes were still pretty popular in those days. I'm not sure if they were the official gi joe brand but I remember having multiple gi joe sized toys with weapons and crazy military clothes and stuff. I had a friend that lived down the street that had a small gun from a gi joe that had a removable magazine and you could pull the little slide back. I thought it was so cool.

I remember that movie toy soldiers came out and a lot of kids had various toys from the movie. All the kids thought the movie was cool. I think they made a sequel but didn't do very well so it probably died quickly and didn't last long.

I remember the Super Nintendo being called the Super NES, does anyone else. The only aggravating thing was Nintendo didn't allow Mortal Kombat having blood from hitting opponents unless you could get a code. Lot of my friends got a Sega Genesis instead. I still have my original Super NES and love playing it still.

The toys were actually released concurrently with the show's debut. The problem with Power Rangers was no one could find them after the show debuted in late august. The overnight smash success of the show drew a frenzy for the toys and an entire 4 month supply was sold through in weeks. Remember the waiting lists at Toys R Us? The show made a billion dollars in the first year and the biggest chunk of it was from the merchandise.
