Honestly this story made me mad. I got pissed when the parents and grandma got lazy, parents never learn. But good narration.

I read a story very similar to this when I was a child, well over 20 years ago. It was about a child who was purposefully taught the wrong words for things as an experiment. It ended with them escaping the house on fire, and when the firefighters asked if anyone was still in the house, they answered no.
